The e-Capsule Private Mail is a family of "zero-footprint" secure e-mail clients featuring strong (AES256) encryption of mail boxes and address books, allowing the generation, import and management of personal digital certificates for encrypting and digitally signing e-mails and attachments. Access to the application and to the individual email accounts is granted only after a successful login using strong credentials. Provides POP3, SMTP, S/MIME support, multi-account management, tools for importing messages and address books from Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Express, secure archiving, rule-based message filtering and Bayesian spam filtering. Within the e-Capsule Private Mail product family, the HD version is specifically designed to achieve unparalleled security for sending, receiving and storing e-mails using your desktop or laptop.
Version 2.0.0.278 adds feature to set Private Mail as default mail application, messages drag and drop functionality.
