This application gives you an option that should come stock with Mac OSX but it doesn't. That is why SimplApps has made a very simple application with two options "Lock" and "Unlock". These options simply run a Terminal script that locks and unlocks your dock.Why would you want to lock and unlock your dock?
You want to lock your dock to prevent your self or others from mistakenly removing an application from your dock simply by dragging it out. When locked the icons will not move from its place.
You want to unlock your dock to add or remove applications.
