WidgetRunner is a free, open source application that allows you to run dashboard widgets on your desktop, and control whether they float above or behind all applications. WidgetRunner currently works with most Apple-supplied widgets, including Weather, Calculator, iTunes, World Clock, Stocks, and many others. However, some widgets do not work. Please send me feedback with widgets you would most like to see supported, or consider helping develop WidgetRunner.
