As its name implies, Painting is an application for creating and editing graphics. Painting has all of the standard paint tools, including flood fill, text (the text tool supports antialiasing for smooth type), and multiple selection tools. Painting lets you manipulate your graphics in several ways, including scaling, flipping, and rotating. Painting also has a "Paste New" command for making new documents from the clipboard, customisable colour sets, and support for opening and saving files in multiple formats.
