NWEA has a new look. MAP is now called MAP Growth, and MAP for Primary Grades (MPG) is now called MAP Growth K-2. The MAP Growth Testing app provides students the ability to complete our K-12 assessments using an iPad. The app is optional for MAP Growth assessments, but required for MAP Growth K-2 assessments on iPad devices. MAP Growth creates a personalized assessment experience by adapting to each student's learning level--precisely measuring student progress and growth for each individual. You'll have essential information about what each student knows and is ready to learn. This app requires iOS 8.0 or later and is not compatible with the first-generation iPad. In addition, the app is not a standalone app for parents to use with children at home, but a complement to schools already administering MAP Growth. NWEA recommends that the app be used with a security feature like Guided Access, but it is not required. See the System and Technology Guide for detailed recommendations.
