Game of the Winds is a fun and challenging board game that's easy enough for children to learn. Mah-jongg players might find this game very easy to learn, because it uses the tile set of the traditional Chinese mah-jongg board game. When you start the game, 144 tiles are arranged on the board in several layers, each tile marked with a colored icon. There are always four tiles marked with the same icon. The goal is to remove all tiles from the board, and this can be accomplished by selecting two matching tiles with the same icon. There are more than 20 different board layouts to choose from, and the level of difficulty ranges from easy to expert, depending on the layout you select. In addition, players can select the icon tile sets from one of three patterns.With this new version, a new tile set with road sign icons and status information about the current match has been added, and it is now possible to flip the board horizontally and vertically so that tiles hidden by others can be made visible.
