iGet is a modern replacement for older file transfer tools like FTP, SFTP, and client-server solutions. It provides a network-oriented file transfer tool that fully supports Mac-specific file attributes. including resource forks, HFS metadata, packages, aliases, and Unicode file names. which standard protocols like FTP cannot handle. Other features include resumable file transfers, strong encryption, Keychain and Rendezvous support, complete drag and drop support, and an efficient protocol offering fast performance on real-world Internet connections, such as cable, DSL, and even dial-up. Version 1.1.1 contains a handful of improvements and fixes including improved keyboard navigation, internal documentation updates, and eliminated a couple of unusual but potentially annoying problems with skipping items during file transfers.
