WinSyslog receives, logs, and processes messages from syslog-enabled devices such as routers and firewalls. It supports a TCP option for PIX firewall. RFC 3195 and SNMP are also supported. The registered version offers extended benefits. It works like a Unix syslogd, but with additional options. It scales from home users to large enterprises. The manual contains configuration instructions for common devices.
Version 7.3 has many new features including Win x64 and OLEDB support, higher performance, more flexible rules, new actions, and improved DNS caching.
