Connection Checker (aka ConChk) checks a number of device connections by their hostnames/IP-addresses and reports the results on screen, to a Syslog server, or a number of mail recipients. The application is easy to install and customize.
It is ideal for scheduled reports to IT-staff.
Version 1.1 is rewritten to use DNS for device addresses. The application now reads ConChk.ini before each run, so changes since the application started are honored. The mail is now sorted so the most critical results are listed first. The subject in mail and Syslog now contains the number of failed/OK devices. New command-line parameters. Some bug-fixes.
