Easily and securely scan from your document scanners and cameras within your virtual desktop environment. With RemoteScan, scanners can be used by thin clients, PCs, tablets, or laptops while you are logged in to your Azure, Terminal Server/Remote Desktop Session Host (TS/ RDSH), Citrix, or VMware session. Use RemoteScan to scan from any TWAIN- and WIA-compliant scanners and image acquisition devices to any TWAIN- or ISIS-compliant scanning application, including EMR, accounting software or document management system that is hosted on a server. Scanned images are immediately transmitted to the server and are never stored on the local end point, which enables you to meet security compliance regulations. Additionally, you can set up this remote desktop scanning software to share scanners with other users on the network.
