RPN Pro brings you classic HP calculator functions along with modern extras like undo and redo, copy and paste, and continuous memory that saves your work even when you quit the app. RPN, or Reverse Polish Notation, is a more elegant and efficient way of using a calculator. RPN is a mathematical notation in which every operator follows all of its operands. A normal calculator would require you to type 1 + 1 = while with RPN you would type 1 ENTER 1 + instead. In the long run, this requires fewer keystrokes. There is also no need for parentheses because you can push and pop numbers from the stack. RPN Pro is a great way to try RPN, or if you're already an experienced RPN user, this app is a calculator that you can rely on and use every day. This app uses the store and recall system for memory instead of the old standby m+. It's far superior and easy to understand. Instead of a single memory register, the buttons 0-9 each represent memory registers. Press STO and then the number of the register you want to store the number in. Press RCL and then the number of the register you want to recall. When storing a number, you can press any operator key before you choose the memory register. This will perform that operation (like addition) on the register. This mimics m+ but is much more powerful.
