Clockwise is a minimalist and easy-to-use status bar application that stays out of your way while triggering all sorts of useful actions and alerts.
Clockwise enables you to schedule alerts in a very intuitive manner: you specify the time or duration, specific days, weeks or even months. Clockwise also offers you the possibility to organize events in folders and filter events with powerful smart folders.
Clockwise's core functionality resides on events and actions. For example, you can set an alarm clock so your mac wakes you up every day to your favorite tune - with a different wake time for weekends. Or you may want to open a website every week to check its latest contents. If you need to take pills for a week before lunch, want a picture of your room emailed to you every ten minutes, or simply want to think of the pizza when it is ready, Clockwise will remember and do it so you won't have to. You could even have Clockwise read a dictionnary out loud during your sleep, or tweet your mac's CPU temperature!

The second update to Clockwise is out! This new version brings major changes and improvements.
New:
- Brand new interface, designed to look cool and be simple
- Tweet action! Much like the 'Alert' action, the Tweet action uses text you enter to tweet it automatically to the Twitter account set on your system preferences
- Clockwise now supports various SMTP connection types when sending an email with the 'Send email' action
- Clockwise now allows various recipients for the same email when sending an email with the 'Send email' action
- Events now have a new, very useful option: 'Enable delayed triggering'. This option allows an overdue event (that couldn't trigger on time because the computer was asleep or Clockwise wasn't running) to run right after the computer is opened or Clockwise is launched, even though it's past its trigger time.
Changed:
- On the 'Alert', 'Tweet' and 'Send email' actions, you can now have Clockwise optionally read the text from a file when running the action. This allows for some really cool workflows, such as having a script that outputs text to a file that is then tweeted to your tweet account.
As always, this update comes with a ton of small under the hood improvements. It also squashes some bugs, which is always a good thing!
