Waltz gives you a "smart scratchpad". You can type, delete, and edit text in this scratchpad just as in an ordinary text document; but, when you press the return key, Waltz invokes an interpretor, to evaluate what you just typed in. This just means that, if you enter 1+2 and press the return key it gives 3. What's nice, compared to a classical calculator, is that you can check your input, touch and modify it, and press the return key again to get a new evaluation instantly. Waltz "speaks" javascript : the language used on the web - you can customise the product at will, enabling sort of plug-ins, pre-defined, or create your own.
