Blockster is parental control software that restricts music or software downloading from P2P applications. Whenever a downloading application is started, Blockster delays its execution. Instead, the program is identified and the user is asked for the override password. If correct, the downloading is permitted. Blockster levels the playing field, giving parents the knowledge and ability to supervise appropriate computer use for the entire family.
