This tablet optimised Compass has an analogue needle, orienteering markings, rotating dial and a digital display. You can change the app's colours. It has a small file size and is battery friendly. Great for hikers, walkers, estate agents, house buyers or if you just want to know which direction is North.The app includes the ability to change the colour of the background, dial, markings and digital numbers. You can have any colour you like as the app gives you a hue/saturation/darkness colour slider. Your selected colour is then blended in places to get rich depths of tone. If you really want a bright pink compass you can. Settings are only saved in the pro edition. You can try out colours but they revert to default on the next launch.
All of the app's graphics are generated using our own Responsive Vector Engine. This allows us to render graphics to your device's exact screen resolution making fonts and graphics look sharp on your phone and tablet no matter what size or proportions it has. No need for a separate HD version. Internet permissions are needed for adverts (AdMob from Google). Permissions and adverts can be removed by buying the pro edition. That's all ads including all our internal ones advertising our other products. The paid app will never have ads added to it in the future.
We suggest that you calibrate the sensor every time you use it to maintain accurate readings. Instructions are in the app. Please note the accuracy of this app relies on the accuracy of your device's sensors.
