The Satimage osax augments AppleScript with text search-and-replace commands, with the most usual mathematical functions, with commands to do maths on arrays, with a command for synchronizing folders, and more. Main features of the Satimage osax include:
- "find text" and "change",
- Regular Expressions,
- mathematical functions (cos, etc.),
- operations on 1D and 2D arrays of numbers, including sophisticated commands (sort, histogram),
- mask commands.
Other useful commands include:
- a fast folder synchronization command,
- additional commands on strings, lists and records,
