Winmail.dat Opener is a free app to open those 'winmail.dat' attachments. This app is free of charge, giving you access to the original attachment files without any need for further in-app purchases. The optional in-app-purchase will remove ads and allows you to access the email body if this has been scrambled also.
You can open a file by using the context menu in the windows file explorer or you can use the built in file picker to select a file.
After extracting the content you can open it with an external viewer, copy they contained attachments to a location of your choice or share the attachments via email.
The free version is ad supported. With an in app purchase you can upgrade to a ad free Pro version.
The Pro version can also extract the original Email message body. This can be helpful if you have to deal with completely wrangled Emails.
Kindly note that not every file ending with ".dat" is a winmail.dat (TNEF) file. So, before submitting a one star review stating that our service didn't work, please ensure that your file is indeed a winmail.dat file and not one of a hundred different file types with a .dat extension.

We do not collect or resale any of your data. The files you open with Winmail.dat Opener are processed on your device. They are not send over the internet. The files are stored in a temporary folder and will be deleted automatically by the operating system. The app requires the network permission to load ads for the non Pro version. The network permission is not used for any other functionality.
